So how can I get my website into the Google rankings?
Well, there are two methods of appearing on Google. You have Google Adwords which are the sponsored links at the top of the page results and also down the right handside. This is where you pay Google everytime someone clicks on your link and goes onto your website. You have to pay for every click. How much depends on the competition of that keyword phrase. It range from anything shuch as 15 pence (which is great! up to £3 or more per click. Obviously paying £3 for every visitor on your website will eat into the largest budgets, nevermind the small ones ….
The other option is to get into the natural listings of Google (or sometimes called organic listings). You don’t pay Google per click in this instance. Instead you need to have an SEO campaign (Search Engine Optimisation). This is where your website will need optimising for your targeted keywords, and a link building campaign will need to commence. This is all quite technical stuff that should only be carried out by an SEO specialist. Unfortunately this again is very expensive. Typical fees from SEO agencies are around £250 – £300 per month.
